DR. SWATI POPAT VATS
Founder President of the Early Childhood Association and the Association for Preparatory Education & Research-India.
Dr. Swati Popat Vats is a prominent figure in the field of early childhood education in India, boasting over 35 years of experience. She holds multiple leadership roles including Founder President of the Early Childhood Association and the Association for Preparatory Education and Research-India. Dr. Vats is also the President of Podar Education Network, overseeing its preschool and daycare chain, Podar Prep /Podar Jumbo Kids, which operates over 500 centers in India, Qatar, UAE. She heads the Teacher Training wing of, Podar Institute of Education and has been a Lead Assurer.
Her influence extends to the international stage, where she serves on advisory boards for Cambridge University Press and Assessment, and is a Global member of the Think Tank of Kidzania. Dr. Vats is an advocate for children’s rights, promoting developmentally-appropriate curriculum and child safety initiatives. She has authored books, developed workshops, and spearheaded initiatives focusing on child safety and well-being.
Dr. Vats’ contributions also include designing innovative curriculums, such as adapting Te Whariki (New Zealand), EYFS (UK), and Oxford Numicon for Indian contexts. She emphasizes ‘KIDUCATION,’ a philosophy centered on stress-free learning tailored to child development. She has also been instrumental in setting up TATASKY’s children television activity channel.
An accomplished author, she has penned more than 35 books for parents, children and teachers.

Dr. Kamini Prakash Rege is an esteemed Professor in the Department of Human Development at the College of Home Science, Nirmala Niketan, affiliated with the University of Mumbai, India. With over 25 years of experience, she is a recognized Ph.D. guide at the University of Mumbai, specializing in Human Development and Early Childhood Care and Education.
As a founding member and Joint Secretary of the National Committee for the Early Childhood Association (ECA) and the Association for Preparatory Education and Research (APER)-India, Dr. Rege has played a pivotal role in shaping policy, programs, and planning activities for young children. She has made significant contributions to academia as a teacher, consultant, and researcher, with expertise in various domains including Early Childhood Education, Parenting, Home-School Partnership, Marriage and Family Relations, and Women Entrepreneurship.
Dr. Rege’s dedication to research culture is evident through her numerous research papers, publications, and guidance to students at different academic levels. She has been instrumental in fostering innovation in curriculum development through creative techniques such as role play, workshops, and hands-on experiences.
Actively involved in multiple prestigious organizations such as the ECA, AECED, HSAI, and IPA, among others, Dr. Rege has received several awards and accolades for her exemplary contributions to the field of Early Childhood Education. Notably, she has been honored with the “Exemplary Contribution in the Field of Early Childhood Education” award by the Early Childhood Association and the “Rashtriya Vibhushan Award” for Outstanding Individual Achievement and Distinguished Services to the Nation.
